Organisations constantly face tough decisions.
Often a decision won’t be made for months. Outcomes won’t be realised for many more months.
A Sprint iterates through these decisions and tests different solutions. The process is prescriptive and efficient. Activities time-boxed and total sprint takes 5 days.
Even before building a minimum viable product. A Sprint shortcuts months of debate and development.
AFTER A SPRINT?
After completing a Design Sprint, you will have a clear idea how to move forward.
We provide a full Sprint summary, interview insights and video footage. We deliver a detailed, prioritised list of actionable next steps.
If needs be, we run a shorter follow-up sprint. This allows us to incorporate feedback, adjust the prototype and test again. Keeping momentum and delivering another set of insights to confirm the direction.
We work with you to ensure maximum value from the Sprint.
After any Sprint, the insights gathered from user tests is enough to provide a clear path forward.
WHAT ARE THE
RESULTS OF A SPRINT?
You will have a realistic prototype. Real user insights and a team aligned through participating in the sprint.
You finish the Sprint with confidence and forward momentum.
Armed with insights, you move to the next phase; Successful tests can become product or service backlogs to move into development.
An iteration sprint will resolve any issues discovered during testing. We re-test then move into the next stage of development.
Finally you could discover a need to re-evaluate the solution concepts. A change of direction to fully meet user needs and resolve the challenge.
WHAT ARE SPRINT EXPERIENCES LIKE?
How much savings do we need for a comfortable retirement? How much would I receive at my current rate? Hymans wanted to communicate their value proposition. They decided to focus on communicating about the problem they were solving. But how could they effectively address the critical nature of the challenge? In a demonstration of Sprints flexibility. The airline industry operates with pretty much every regulation you can possibly fathom and thus, new technologies take ages to be adopted and implemented. Somewhat naturally, regulations have become the main suspect when it comes to hampering progress in the industry. However, they are there for a good reason. So the most logical question is, how do you accelerate the pace of innovation despite all restrictions. Find out how KLM use the Design Sprints process to create an innovative prototyping environment in one of the most regulated environments.
Flatiron Health had completed 10+ design sprints up to 2017. Their sprints have resulted in three shipped features, the creation of a new operational process and an entirely new product line. Because of their time in the trenches of the sprint process, they’ve learned valuable insights on best practices. In this article they provide answers about before, during and after the sprint.
Ok.. But what kind of product or service do early-stage founders need? How could Commerzbank develop a compelling offer? At what point during a startups journey does a bank become relevant? and banking aside, where do startups need support? This story articulates using a Design Sprint to identify the needs and likelihood of success when expanding a service offering. How the end solution wasn’t even a thought before the sprint. Displays the importance of understanding and testing with users before moving forward.
How good is vehicle registration… said no-one ever, until now!
